Delock USB Y-cable

Yes that should work 👍
Yes, that's possible, I have it that way too. BUT, the USB hub MUST have a power supply, otherwise there is a risk that the HDDs or SSDs will be logged off and on again and again. Can cause irreparable damage to the external media! Greetings, CosBe
Yep, that's exactly what the cable is for! Red is the additional power supply, black is the data transmission.
No, it doesn't work to extend. The 10 m cable is amplified for long distances.
Yes, the power supply is connected to the 2 sockets, but the data is only on one of the sockets.
Should work without any problems. I use it as an extension for a poorly accessible port on a device.
Good day I use this cable as an extension to my iPhone charging cable. Works flawlessly. Should work just as well for a surveillance camera.
No, unfortunately not, this cable is not designed for it.

This should not be a problem.
This extension is a cable with normal USB plugs. You can try it with any USB-A plug to see how the distances are. If it doesn't work, you have to search for extremely narrow plugs. QuickCharge is not a function of a cable, but of a power bank. The specifications should tell you whether your power bank can handle QuickCharge. QuickCharge increases the voltage during charging because only limited currents are possible due to the thin USB cable wires, for example between 1 and 2 amperes depending on the cable.
You cannot connect two PCs directly to each other via USB to transfer data.
Yes, you can. I use it to supply my external audio interface with stable voltage. You could also tape off the corresponding pins on the black connector so that only data comes through there.
It is sufficient to connect the red connector to a 2nd USB port. A practical example would be the Nintendo Wii U, which supplies too little power for most USB hard drives. If you connect the Y-cable to two ports of the WII U and behind it the USB hard drive, enough power is supplied to make it work. The same problem can also be solved for, for example, Smart TVs or Raspberry Pi's and other devices that do not supply enough power via USB.
The red connector is for additional power only. This cable is not suitable for connecting 2 computers to one terminal. You will need a USB switch. For example, the following products: Aten US224 2-port USB 2.0 Peripheral Switch (manual) or Aten US221A 2-port USB 2.0 Peripheral Switch (automatic).
This is a normal USB 3.0 A-A cable. Unfortunately, I cannot judge whether it meets your requirements.
No. The Y-cable is more to supply a USB device with a bit more power. (one of the ports for example only supplies 500ma and a Raspberry PI doesn't run so well with it). What you need is rather a USB switch: Aten US224 USB 2.0 Peripheral Switch with 2 Ports I have one of these and it works well, but sometimes has its problems.
