Device insurance

General information

All it takes is a stroke of bad luck for your smartphone to slip out of your hand, or to spill a glass of water on your laptop. Because such cases aren’t covered by the manufacturer warranty or our warranty extensions, we offer additional device insurance.  

Device insurance is an insurance policy offered by AXA Versicherungen AG. The insurance offers worldwide, all-round protection in the event of damage due to a drop or impact, display breakage, as well as in the case of water and moisture damage. For mobile phones and tablets, the insurance also covers costs arising from misuse of the SIM card in the case of theft. The number of claims that can be made during the contract period is unlimited.

Filing a claim

In the event of damage to your insured device, please report this to us via https://insurance.digitec.ch/#/ or https://insurance.galaxus.ch/#/. This way, you simultaneously start the repair process.
