can it be charged without loss? would like to connect a small indoor surveillance camera from xiaomi. Power socket - Power adapter - Delock cable - USB A to micro USB cable - Camera.

I use this cable as an extension to my iPhone charging cable. Works flawlessly. Should work just as well for a surveillance camera.
