The Z270E version also has: - Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Supports dual band frequency 2.4/5 GHz Supports MU-MIMO - Bluetooth V4.1 Z270F has no Wi-Fi and Bluetooth! Compare the two motherboards on the following page: https://www.asus.com/ch-de/Motherboards/ROG-Republic-of-Gamers-Products/
According to the manual, the board has the following FAN connections: 1x 4-pole CPU_FAN 1x 4-pole CPU_OPT (Secondary CPU_FAN) 1x 4-pole AIO_PUMP (for water pumps) 1x 4-pole H_AMP_FAN 1x 5-pin EXT_FAN (Required for an external ASUS FAN controller card, cannot be used for a FAN) 2x 4-pin CHA_FAN (Actually intended for case fans) Manual: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/STRIX_Z270E_GAMING/G12192_STRIX_Z270E_GAMING_UM_V2_WEB.pdf Even if you were to use all the connectors besides the CPU FAN for case fans, you would only have 5 connectors available. I recommend the use of so-called "FAN splitters" or a "FAN controller" to get more connections for case fans.
The only thing to look for is that the mainboard has a PciE x16 3.0 interface and the power supply has enough power and 2x 8 pin for the GPU. Yes, this motherboard would definitely fit. A small tip on the side, wait for the 1080Ti should be available quickly. https://www.digitec.ch/de/page/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1080-ti-founders-edition-jetzt-vorbestellen-3965
Windows Device Manager > Network Adapter > Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4A Wireless Network Adapter Right click on it -> Disable Device
Yes. But why 850 watts? And the z270 chipset is basically obsolete.
The board is definitely suitable for overclocking.
...ja.
Hello Mk You can use 6th generation processors with this mainboard. If the specifications are not listed on digitec, you can usually find them at the manufacturer. You can find the specifications of the mainboard under the following link: https://www.asus.com/ch-de/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-Z270E-GAMING/specifications/ Of course, the processor must also have the same socket. Greetings
Has Asus Aura (software) = you can do everything with it, every colour + switch off.
I strongly recommend you always get the compatibility list from the official site. Always. https://www.asus.com/ch-de/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-Z270E-GAMING/HelpDesk_QVL/ This way you are already on the safe side as far as compatibility is concerned and are already limited by your choice, so you have fewer decisions to make. Also, it's hard to recommend something if you don't know what you're using your computer for. But with RAM, you can actually save a lot of money because the price/performance ratio is actually very bad. So for a lot of money, you don't necessarily get the extra performance you want. If you're building a gamer PC that's going to last a few years, I'd recommend upgrading to 32GB of RAM. This should give you enough RAM for the next generation of games. With 16GB it's already getting tight again (see BF1). With the compatibility list, you can always see directly whether 4 of your selected bars are supported or not. So use the list. Always ;)
So the wifi module from the Z270E works very well, I'm using that right now. I have pretty much the same system at the moment (i7-7700K, Asus Strix O8G-1070, Asus Strix Z270E). Am very happy with the system, for 1440p, 165Hz gaming really nice ;)
Oh, I saw 3866 is Max, there are a lot of people going here as far as I can see: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/TUF_Z270_MARK1/Z270_PRIME_TUF_STRIX_QVL.pdf?_ga=2.58101805.603862673.1509440575-1416166598.1509440575
Hello Alienwaredragon You are in the wrong place in the community with such questions. Contact the customer service directly.
Motherboards are always backwards compatible. You can put WIN DOS on it. Yes, Win 7 is compatible.
This is not a problem. The fourth PIN is used for PWM. This means the motherboard is able to directly control the 4-pin fans to automatically adjust their speed to the corresponding temperature. You can always connect 3 pin fans to 4 pin connectors. They will work normally, they just won't be automatically controlled by the motherboard. You shouldn't have to think about how to connect them, because there is only one way to do it: https://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/img/4pin.jpg
With the appropriate drivers it should work yes and otherwise just try something around and maybe, depending on the CPU, it has the better graphics unit ; )
In this case, I would recommend using an external USB WLAN device. It could be that another WLAN adapter does not work with this MOBO. I can recommend this one: edimax EW-7612UAn v2 with 3dBi antenna (USB 2.0, 300Mbit/s) IMPORTANT: Please always pay attention to the transmission bandwidth. In this case 300Mbit/s -> 37.5 MB/s, it would be helpful to know what your upload and download speeds are.
I always have the M.2 SSD in the bottom slot. This automatically switches to the correct mode. See also the article in the mainboard manual. It says which slot behaves in which way.
Let me explain this: Cashback = cash back = you get cash back I know it's only written in German but there's also a link to explain the promotion: https://www.asus-promotion.com/ch
The graphics card and the RAM are no problem, only the processor does not work because it is not the same socket.
