Without the FW entry, authentication in the app does not work, i.e. you cannot program the i7. Theoretically, you could remove the FW entry after programming the i7. I simply put the robot in a separate VLAN without access to my LAN and with its own FW rules.

Hello Anonymous, Yes, special dust bags are necessary for the Clean Base, whereby 2 pieces are already included in the scope of delivery. The dust bags will also be available on Galaxus from around March - the recommended retail price is CHF 19.00 for 3 pieces in a set. Best regards Your iRobot Team

By sensors, do you mean the metal contact points on the station and under the Robo that are used for charging? I had the same problem because an oxide layer formed on them and sufficient current flow was no longer guaranteed. Cleaning with water only helps to a limited extent. It is better to use vinegar (then water again and dab dry) or mechanically (green scotch sponge that you normally use for washing). Good luck :)

Hello Yes, this is possible. Roomba will create one map per room while cleaning. However, you can also turn off Imprint Smart Mapping in the app and it will clean your room without this feature. This will have no effect on the cleaning result. Many greetings Your iRobot Team

Hello AtschyCH, With the new model we also recommend a total cleaning every 2-3 weeks. There are no additional cleaning procedures for the Clean Base suction station, except for cleaning the charging contacts, as is already the case with the Home Base charging station. Hello, what does Upstairs mean? Stairs? Lift? Either create a new card for "Upstairs" or "Gallery", or if there are no stairs, Roomba can include that in the main card. If you need to carry it upstairs, I would create a separate map for the gallery. Angled shouldn't be a problem. Then it just runs a little longer. As long as the aisles are not narrower than the Roomba. To your second question: As long as it's higher and wider than the Roomba, it will go in there. In our house it also goes under the bed. According to the manufacturer, it has a height of 9.3 cm and a diameter of approx. 35 cm.

Hello Jan.zurbuchen I didn't find anything in the app to suggest that I could adjust the suction power. And there's no need for a Do Not Disturb function, because you can create your own cleaning times and days. Since the last update, you can even prioritise or number the rooms that the Roomba is allowed to clean. Greetings Master870

Hello Pony Thank you very much for your enquiry. It is not possible to make a general statement regarding high pile carpets, as this depends too much on the nature of the carpet. However, these carpets can be excluded by means of an exclusion zone if the Roomba has problems with them. Best regards Your iRobot Team

I think cables are probably a problem for all devices. However, two Virtual Wall barriers are supplied with the iRobot Roomba. With these, you can demarcate places where the vacuum is not supposed to operate (light barriers). I bought an additional one and can use it to demarcate my rooms so that there are no problems with cables or other objects. But it is clear that you have to gain some experience with it and it is also clear that you have to clean by hand where the boundaries are.

We have three Siberian forest cats and also had problems with another robot hoover. We then took a chance with the i7+ and are positively surprised. The i7+ has no problems with the cats' hair. You should clean the robot hoover after every use. The bristles are very easy to remove and free from the tufts of hair. In general, the i7+ is very well designed so that you can get to all the places where the hair can get caught. We are very satisfied and can highly recommend it to every pet owner! :-)

So far I have received my replacement products at Migros Spreitenbach. Unfortunately, you can't get them everywhere you can buy the iRobot Roomba. To be precise, they are not in stock everywhere, but you can order them (and may have to wait a few days). It would be nice if the replacement products could also be ordered online at digitec.ch.

Good day In such cases, we always recommend resetting the device to the factory settings via the app. You can do this in the app in the settings. The cards are then removed. The cleaning histories are stored in the cloud for each device and are not dependent on the user account, as different user accounts can access the same device, e.g. partner/roommate, etc. The previous owner no longer has access to your device, as it has now been installed in another WLAN. Accordingly, he automatically loses access. If you have any further questions, please contact our support team at 062 746 06 74 or service@irobotics.ch. Many greetings Your iRobot team
