Question about iRobot Roomba i7+
How well does the unit cope with cables lying around? Does it recognise them, or does it pull them in like my old one and not get out of the way?
I think cables are probably a problem for all devices. However, two Virtual Wall barriers are supplied with the iRobot Roomba. With these, you can demarcate places where the vacuum is not supposed to operate (light barriers). I bought an additional one and can use it to demarcate my rooms so that there are no problems with cables or other objects. But it is clear that you have to gain some experience with it and it is also clear that you have to clean by hand where the boundaries are.
