Important to know

The tour is conducted in German or English and is suitable for people aged 12 and over. As the tour involves walking through large halls and across several floors, you should be physically fit. Bags, jackets, and electronic devices will be securely stored in a locker during the tour. We will, of course, provide the necessary safety shoes and a safety vest on-site free of charge.

 

What can you expect?

After the security check, your two-hour journey of discovery through the Galaxus logistics center in Wohlen begins. On your way through the 120,000 square meter facility, you will follow a product from goods receipt to dispatch and get a unique look behind the scenes of modern logistics.

Your journey begins at the loading docks, where trucks arrive daily and new goods enter the warehouse. The tour then takes you to the pick tower, where employees manually retrieve ordered products from the shelves. A special highlight awaits you in the Skypod: there, over 300 robots move through shelves up to 12 meters high, transporting the required goods directly to the employees.

Afterwards, you will discover other areas of the logistics center and experience how an order is packed and prepared for shipment. Along the way, exciting background information, impressive figures, and surprising anecdotes from the world of Galaxus await you. You will see up close how robots, conveyor technology, and hundreds of employees work together to ensure your package arrives on time.

What happens after booking via GetYourGuide?

After your booking, you will receive a confirmation from GetYourGuide. We will then contact you via email to collect the necessary contact details for all participants in your group.

All participants will subsequently receive our safety regulations via email. As soon as these have been read and confirmed, a personal QR code will be sent. This will allow access to the premises and the parking garage on the day of the visit.

Why book through GetYourGuide?

Why is there a fee for the tour?

Behind every tour lies a significant organizational and personnel effort. This includes the planning and coordination of the visit, the registration of all participants, the safety equipment, as well as personal accompaniment through our logistics center.

With this contribution, we can offer the tours professionally, safely, and in high quality.

When will new appointments be released?

Why are jackets, bags, and electronic devices not allowed to be taken inside?

Our logistics center is an active facility with robots, conveyor belts, vehicles, and heavy traffic. Using a mobile phone or camera during the tour can be distracting and therefore pose a safety risk.

Jackets, bags, and electronic devices can be safely stored in the provided lockers during the tour. This also helps protect the stored products.

You don't have to miss out on a nice souvenir, however: a group photo at the end of the tour is of course possible.

Is there a possibility for an aperitif?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer an apéro directly at our location. However, we would be happy to provide you with recommendations for restaurants or other suitable options in the area.

What can we do if our group is larger than 15 people?
