Important information
The tour’s offered in German or English and is suitable for people aged 12 and over. It involves walking through large halls and across several floors, which aren't wheelchair-accessible unfortunately. Therefore, guests should be comfortable walking. Please allow around 2.5 hours for the tour. We’ll keep your bags, jackets and electronic devices safe in a locker whilst you’re on the tour. Safety footwear and a visitor’s vest are provided free of charge.
What to expect
After a security check, your roughly two-hour journey of discovery through the Galaxus logistics centre in Wohlen begins. As you make your way through the 120,000-square-metre facility, you’ll follow a product from the receiving area all the way to shipping and get a unique behind-the-scenes look at modern logistics.
Your journey begins at the loading bays, where lorries roll in daily and fresh stock enters the warehouse. Next, you’ll head to the Picktower, where our team manually takes the ordered products from the shelves. A special highlight awaits you in the Skypod where over 300 robots navigate through shelves up to 12 metres high, transporting goods directly to our employees.
After that, you’ll explore other areas of the logistics centre and watch how an order gets packed and prepared for dispatch. Along the way, you’ll pick up fascinating background info, impressive figures and surprising anecdotes from the world of Galaxus. You’ll see first-hand how robots, conveyor systems and hundreds of team members work together to make sure your parcel arrives on time.

What happens after I book through GetYourGuide?
As soon as you’ve booked, you’ll get a confirmation from GetYourGuide. We’ll then e-mail you to collect the contact details for everyone in your group. After that, we’ll send all participants our safety guidelines by e-mail. Once they’ve read and confirmed them, we’ll send you a personal QR code. This will give you access to the site and the car park on the day of your visit.
Why is the booking made through GetYourGuide?

Why is there a fee for the tour?
Every guided tour involves a significant amount of organisational and staffing effort. This includes planning and coordinating the visit, registering all participants, providing safety equipment and having a personal guide take visitors through our logistics centre. The fee allows us to offer guided tours that are professional, safe and of high quality.

Why aren’t jackets, bags and electronic devices allowed to be taken on the tour?
Our logistics centre’s a busy place with robots, conveyor belts, vehicles and lots of traffic. Using a mobile phone or camera during the tour can be a distraction and create a safety risk. You can store your jackets, bags and electronic devices safely in the lockers we provide. This also helps protect the products in our warehouse. However, we’ll make sure you get a souvenir: at the end of the tour, we’ll happily take a group photo.
Could we have an apéritif at the logistics centre?
Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer an apéritif right here at our warehouse. However, we’d be happy to recommend restaurants or other nice spots in the area.

In which languages are the guided tours offered?
We currently offer our guided tours in German and English. We might add more language options in the future.
Where is the meeting place and how do I get there?
The meeting point is the turnstile at the exit of the parking garage. The address is: Industriestrasse 26, 5610 Wohlen. Please be there five minutes before the tour starts. The Visitor Experience Team will welcome you there.
How long does the visit take in total?
The tour itself lasts about two hours. But plan on spending about 2.5 hours there. Before the actual tour starts, we’ll introduce ourselves, go over the safety instructions and hand out the visitor equipment. After the tour, you’ll return your safety shoes and vest.
Can I cancel or reschedule my reservation?
Cancellations and rescheduling are subject to GetYourGuide’s terms and conditions, which you’ll see when you make your booking. You can cancel for free up to 24 hours before the tour starts.
If your group gets smaller at the last minute, please let us know as soon as possible. For private tours, the flat fee remains the same regardless of the number of participants. If you can’t make it on the day of the visit or are running late, please let us know, so we can adjust the schedule.
Will the logistics centre operate as usual during the tour?
Yes. You’ll be experiencing a busy logistics centre with robots, conveyor belts and vehicles. That’s exactly what makes the visit exciting, but it also means that the schedule may vary slightly depending on the operational situation. Sometimes we can only decide which areas to visit when we get to the warehouse.
