Question about iRobot Roomba i7+
Our flat is somewhat angled and has a gallery where the living area continues upstairs. The ceiling height of the gallery is about 5.5m. Is this a problem for the Roomba and does it take the living area upstairs as an area to the flat downstairs and just never reach the area? 2nd question. The robot vacuum cleaner goes into a specially made niche in the cupboard below. Depth 60cm, width 50cm and height 13cm. Is this possible with the Roomba?

Hello, what does Upstairs mean? Stairs? Lift? Either create a new card for "Upstairs" or "Gallery", or if there are no stairs, Roomba can include that in the main card. If you need to carry it upstairs, I would create a separate map for the gallery. Angled shouldn't be a problem. Then it just runs a little longer. As long as the aisles are not narrower than the Roomba.
To your second question: As long as it's higher and wider than the Roomba, it will go in there. In our house it also goes under the bed. According to the manufacturer, it has a height of 9.3 cm and a diameter of approx. 35 cm.

The fact that the ceiling stops does not affect the Roomba i7. It orientates itself, as Starke87 has explained, by recognising objects and other built-in sensors. It should be able to move over everything as long as there are no other obstacles, such as large thresholds or stairs.
The dimensions under Product Dimensions in the item description indicate the size of the robot hoover without the station. If you buy the Roomba with the suction station, the height will not work as the Clean Base is 38.5cm high. You can assume the following dimensions for the Clean Base: (W x H x D) 34.2 x 38.5 x 39cm. However, there should be a distance of about 50cm around the station, except behind it, so that the Robot Vacuum Cleaner can find the station safely.
