So I have my Dell Latitude 7480 connected with USB C and it works beautifully.
As I understand it, there will be a new scaled EU energy consumption labelling from 01.03.2021, so that a current A+++ will become a new C, or in this case an A+ will become an E. You can find more information by scanning the QR code on the label.
The U version is a little more expensive but almost identical. The P version is cheaper but has a better colour depth than the more expensive version. Otherwise, almost everything is the same in both versions.
According to the Dell website, the monitor is classified as A+. From March onwards, a new energy efficiency classification will be introduced, you have probably received the label of the new classification. You can recognise the new one by a QR code at the top right of the label.
Yes exactly, no jack and unfortunately your suggestion (USB to audio jack) would not work because it requires a soundcard (meaning it only works with a PC). Sincerely Anton
Yes, USB-C <-> USB-C cable was included with mine
When I turn off my computer, I always turn off the Dell as well. A computer in sleep mode is a switched-off device for the screen, so it looks for something to display. Ergo: just switch it off.
Hi Alexander - Just weighed it for you on my desk: 6.5Kg with mount.
I think the best option then would be an HDMI cable, like this one: Shiverpeaks HDMI Cable (3m, HDMI)
Hello; we currently have the new Dell conferencing monitors; these have a LAN connection. These are available as 24/27/34 inch models C2422HE; C2722DE; C3422WE, the last one as Curved; All have camera and microphone and speakers "onboard". And are team certified. https://www.digitec.ch/Comparison/14783822-14783826-14783924
The screen can be rotated left and right, and from landscape to portrait.
On my late 2013 Retina, 15" macbook pro, the output on this screen works using an additional cable (either HDMI or Mini DisplayPort).

In the new classification, all monitors have been downgraded quite a bit to keep A and B free for the future (so that there are not A+++++ devices again quickly).
Your Thunderbolt port is also a picture output to MiniDisplayPort. Simply use a cable or an appropriate adapter for the connection: Delock Mini DP - DisplayPort, 4K (1.80m, Display Port)

When the USB-C cable is connected between the laptop and the monitor, you can connect the webcam to one of the USB ports on the monitor.
Since macOS does not require display drivers, I expect that the P2720DC should also work on the 2020 model. I have my two P2720DC connected to a Mac mini 2018 via USB-C. This works fine. Both monitors are connected directly to the Mac mini as daisy chaining via Displayport between the two monitors is not supported by macOS. On a 2020 model, this setup would be inconvenient, as it would use up both USB-C ports. At least the P2720DC offers a hub with 4 USB (2x 2.0 2x 3.0) ports each.
Works without problems with USB-C.
I can't contribute anything to the question of the graphics card. But basically: The monitor runs perfectly with Win10Pro.
Jo, just connect it with the usb-C cable. The MacBook is then charged at the same time :) Power then comes via the monitor
The quality of the monitor is top-notch and it also looks high-quality. For office work, the screen was almost a bit too big for me. At the moment, I prefer to work with my two BenQ PD2500Qs (but they don't have USB-C!).
As long as the monitor is connected via usb-c, this should work.
Neither. The monitor has USB-A and USB-C ports, but neither RJ45 nor jack. (I still like the screen a lot).
No jack. You have to add the sound bar to get one I think.
