The so-called KVM switch serves as a switch and connects a set of peripheral devices with several computing stations such as computers, servers or workstations. Depending on the type of switch, USB devices and speakers can also be shared. KVM is an abbreviation and stands for the English terms keyboard, video (screen) and mouse.
