Hi all, I bought the DELL P2720DC two years ago and want to reconnect it to the MacBook Air. When I put the MacBook to sleep, the display turns on constantly to look for a signal and then turns off again. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

When I turn off my computer, I always turn off the Dell as well. A computer in sleep mode is a switched-off device for the screen, so it looks for something to display. Ergo: just switch it off.
