I wanted to connect my Nintendo Switch and PS4 to my Elgato Capture Card and then bring the picture to the AOC PC monitor. It works with the Nintendo Switch. But not with the PS4. I can't get a signal there. Is the Switch not compatible with PS4?

Unfortunately, no. According to my research, conventional splitters and switches cannot pass the ARC signal from the TV correctly. However, there are switches that have "ARC passthrough": Vivolink HDMI switcher 4x1, 4K@60Hz ARC

Would this work: -Output: PS5 -> hdmi to monitor -> hdmi to beamer (or first into the AV) So a PS5 should (not simultaneously) serve either the monitor or the beamer without me having to reconnect. or do I need something else? thank you

I use it as 2 HDMI to 1 screen. From time to time it starts to switch between the 2 computers many times in a row without any reasons. very annoying, and then useless device. It is also costanttly on. cables are fine and well connected. Anyone experiencing them? or is just mine defect?

Hello all I was delighted to receive the switch today. Unfortunately, it does not work as desired. Setup: - Laptop with docking station (DisplayPort-> HDMI) - Desktop PC (HDMI -> HDMI) SHOULD: - Laptop HDMI - Desktop HDMI via switch to 1 HDMI monitor If I have only connected the laptop, the picture appears at first. But not for long, after a short time the monitor goes black. The signal comes and goes. However, the monitor remains switched on and does not go into standby. As soon as I connect the desktop, the switch on number 1 and 2 starts flashing. A selection is not possible. Has anyone had a similar problem? Greetings

PS4 has HDMI, if your laptop also has an HDMI output, this switch is the right one.

I don't know why but when I connect this to my playstation my monitor always goes off and on again but when my pc is on nothing happens. Whenever I switch to the ps then it has a malfunction.

There is a possibility that the signal from the PS is not compatible. Try another device you have, for example a DVD player, if you have the same problem it could be defective.

The unit selects the inputs automatically. If there is a signal at both inputs, which input does the unit select ? Is one input generally preferred or does the unit that is switched on first have priority ?

In your case, the unit that is switched on second has priority. However, you can switch your input manually with the help of a small button (Select). The selector is located at the top between the labels 1 and 2 (can be seen in the enlarged product picture).

Do I understand this correctly? If I have 3 monitors connected to my PC, one of them is still connected to my PS4. Does the PC automatically recognise that it only has 2 monitors available when I switch to the PS4? Thanks a lot

Can I order this Switch and then connect the Nintendo Switch (via dock) via HDMI and use an HDMI cable for the laptop on the second port to switch between them? Is it also possible, for example, if I work on a laptop connected via HDMI to the monitor and when I'm finished I leave it connected and switch on the Switch and the Switch then recognises that the Switch's input port is active and automatically switches to the Switch?

hdmi is specified up to 7.5m so it should work. i have a similiar setting with a 20m hdmi cable and it works too, but it depends also on the connected devices.

Do you need the opposite? So a switch that distributes one device to two screens? Because I don't quite understand why you need a socket on the output side if it is connected to a display device anyway. Otherwise, you simply need an HDMI splitter/switch and 3 additional cables. I bought this HDMI switcher yesterday. At the beginning everything worked. After 2 hours, the input somehow no longer worked properly with the PS4, but it still worked with the PC. Ka why.
