I use this splitter to transmit the AV signal from the TV box to my beamer and the Samsung TV in parallel. Of course, the beamer has no sound. The TV does and it works perfectly in the highest sound quality, also via the Samsung soundbar behind it (eARC).
I've been looking for this solution for a long time, because unfortunately Samsung doesn't offer HDMI out on their TVs.
