Question about Lindy HDMI Splitter Compact
If I have 2 output devices, one with a resolution of 3840x1080 (computer) and one with 3840 × 2160, is the resolution adjusted to the output device used or simply to the worse of the two connected?
The splitter's output resolution will be that of your input device (max 3840x2160 @30Hz, depending on the splitter's specifications). Your output devices should then either support the resolution received, or downscale to its capabilities.
In this case, the output signal must be set to the lower value. This is only a splitter but not a scaler.
