The cable does not work with the Eizo CG2730 monitor even with the ramming into the USB-C port of the MacBook mentioned several times here. Can anyone tell me which cable works with the monitor? Thanks for the help.

I use this cable with an IPad Pro 2020 and a Macbook 13" 2018 to a Samsung TV vintage 2016. So far I could not find any problems. Works without any problems.

In principle, yes. More important than the choice of cable would therefore be to know how it is to be connected. HDCP "compatibility" can only be assessed for an entire system, from the source of the signal to the display device. For it to work, the USB-C port used for it must offer "Display Port Alternate Mode" or "HDMI Alternate Mode", which may be missing on older and low-end laptops, for example. Simply put, the cable is (almost) never to blame if there is a problem with playback protection. The cable does not have the technical ability to influence HDCP. Specifically: If a (passive) HDMI cable is damaged or unsuitable, it will affect the signal transmission regardless of whether the signal is protected with HDCP or not.

Hello, does this cabke work with the lenovo legionn go? Thank you in advance for your help. If this is not the case, I am looking for a 1.5 metre cable to connect the lenovo legion go to a 43 inch samsung smartmonitor which only has HDMI.

The cable works wonderfully for me with a Lenovo notebook with a resolution of 1920x1200. I couldn't find out quickly whether it works on the 'Lenovo Legion Go'. But: HDMI via USB-C always works _only_ if the device is prepared for it. The manufacturer always mentions this in the description!

Can anyone confirm that charging is possible with this cable? I have a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port on my HP Elitebook, at work I have a USB-C - USB-C cable between the PC and the screen and it charges, I would like to have the same for my screen at home but I don't have USB-C on the screen, so I need HDMI - USB-C on the screen.I would have liked to have the same thing for my screen at home but I don't have USB-C on the screen, so I need HDMI - USB-C but I want it to charge the PC as well.

This will not work. You need USB-C docking for this. Charging via an HDMI cable will unfortunately not be possible. I ordered the cable for the connection between my Windows docking station (Surface) and an HP E243i. Unfortunately, there is a kind of loose contact and the connection is constantly lost again. What could be the reason for this? Thank you very much for the feedback.

Same problem - also with the docking station (Surface), but still with HDMI->DVI adapter.... Strange, it works with the normal "USB-C - HDMI cable" from Microsoft.

With the microsoft surface go it works like a charm. Tablet computers are not that different from classic tablets. It is strange that it does not work for you. Maybe try from the settings, maybe you need to approve the connection

Can I use this connector in the opposite direction? i.e. connect a DVD player to a BENQ GV1 projector which only has a USB-C input?

Hello, No, this is not possible.
