The cable works wonderfully for me with a Lenovo notebook with a resolution of 1920x1200.

I couldn't find out quickly whether it works on the 'Lenovo Legion Go'. But: HDMI via USB-C always works _only_ if the device is prepared for it. The manufacturer always mentions this in the description!
