Can anyone confirm that charging is possible with this cable? I have a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port on my HP Elitebook, at work I have a USB-C - USB-C cable between the PC and the screen and it charges, I would like to have the same for my screen at home but I don't have USB-C on the screen, so I need HDMI - USB-C on the screen.I would have liked to have the same thing for my screen at home but I don't have USB-C on the screen, so I need HDMI - USB-C but I want it to charge the PC as well.

This will not work. You need USB-C docking for this. Charging via an HDMI cable will unfortunately not be possible. You will therefore need a USB-C equipped display capable of charging or a USB-C docking station found in this product category: https://www.digitec.ch/fr...
