Yes, that is certainly not true. You can often smoke the specifications here in the shop because they are incorrect. The specifications on the Canon website are relevant.
I understand the concern, on paper it looks like this is a disadvantage when comparing. I would choose the R6 over the R any day. Especially because of the autofocus. The autofocus of the R6 and R5 is a leap you can feel. And you really feel it. Once you've tried it, you don't want to go back. The difference in resolution is comparatively minimal and insignificant. The few pixels more resolution are distributed in two dimensions. The few times when the focus is not quite right on the R and it is on the R6 make up for it anyway. If you really need more resolution, you need a camera like the R5 with 40+ MP. But most people won't need that. I see this in special applications like landscape photography (for large prints) and wildlife (for cropping), but even there it's not mandatory. 20 MP is more than enough even in 2021.
Canon RF 15-30mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM (Canon RF, Vollformat)
This model has never been affected. Overheating problems are more common in 8k and high bit rate cases.
The camera is the same for both suppliers. The kit also includes the Canon RF 24-105mm F4-7.1 IS STM lens.
I made the switch about 2 years ago: I didn't notice any difference in image quality - except for more resolution with the R. I'm not sure what the difference is. High-ISO has a slight advantage over the R6, speed too. The following points were decisive for me in switching to the R6: AF (incl. eye AF) clearly better, two memory card slots and the joystick instead of the rocker, which I couldn't cope with at all. Plus the clearly better video characteristics. R5 only if you really need the 45 megapixels... If you are happy with the R and don't miss anything, it's hardly worth changing. My tip: wait a little longer and then switch to the R6 Mark II when the prices have fallen a little.
You register for this promotion with Canon. Upload the necessary documents such as invoice, serial number and a photo of the serial number. You get an account for this promotion. And 6 weeks later the money is transferred to you. Uncomplicated and good.
Yes, AF system is identical with R5!
Canon EOS R6 Kit + EF Adapter (24-240mm, 20.10Mpx, Vollformat / FX)
Yes I received mine with the latest version 1.1.1
Apparently not. Otherwise it would no longer say "unknown".
For cameras with two card slots, you can configure the behaviour. It must always be possible to write the same data to both cards. That is the great added benefit. If not, it would be a big fail.
Unfortunately, we do not have an availability date at the moment. As soon as we know more, the status will be updated on the website and in the customer account.
Just try the Canon dealer of least confidence. You can certainly talk to them about the price, which is not possible at Digitec.
As far as I know, one is installed, but it no longer affects the image as much as the predecessors.
If you order against invoice, you only pay when the goods arrive.
Or the 3rd option has happened, namely that a large number of different customers have benefited from this offer.😉
The IBIS is NOT an optical image stabiliser, of course it should be (why can't you edit your questions here any more?). Troublesome.
What exactly do you mean by which side is offline?
