This headset is a UC = Unified Communication I don't think this will work on a console. These are not listed in the compatibility list either.

If I insert the headset and press lightly against the contacts (and at the same time check the LEDs to see if they light up), it almost always charges. So, if by communication assistant you mean VoIP software, then my answer is yes. I have been using the headset with Bria and other clients for a long time and have had no problems.
UC means approved for unified communication. This is a certification for programmes such as Skype for Business or Teams. If the headset is only used for telephone, the headset without UC certification is also sufficient.
