I am very satisfied with the operating and acoustic quality. Only: Is it correct that the fit on the ear is rather loose, so that no too violent movements can be made without the part flying off the ear? In my opinion, there is no "clamping function" that would guarantee a better hold. Or have I overlooked something in this context?
Hello Blumer,
The thick part of the headset goes behind the ear, the thicker part goes around the top of the ear into the pinna... the hold is _very_ good for me at least. Nothing sticks but sits firmly even when running around the office in a panic.
For me, the headphones also sit rather loosely on the ear. With my ear cups, headphones that are only "placed in the cup" (like the old iPod earphones) never sit well, I always have to resort to in-ear or over-ear. Since the Plantronics uses the same construction for the listening part, I would be grateful for an in-ear attachment because the fit would then feel "more secure". On the other hand, you don't have to worry about it falling off. That certainly won't happen.
For me, the wearing comfort is unfortunately very poor due to the size of the receiver/battery housing (behind the ear) and thus unusable. The front earpiece is a fixed rubber part and due to the weight, the size and for larger ears, unfortunately converted into a brace for protruding ears, a bad buy. I let myself be influenced by the many good reviews. Status 2021 03
