Yes, the contents of the delivery are correct. The "charger box" has a slot for the USB connector and gives the possibility to charge the headset in the vertical position in the hole on the side or directly in the box in the storage slot
"My best headset so far. I am a technician and often work in noisy environments. With this headset I can stand next to a loud machine and the person opposite me can't hear the machine at all. But my voice is very clear.

The supplied dongle (BT700 USB adapter) can be connected to a USB dock as long as the dock has a USB-A port and the power supply and data transfer function correctly. There is no official restriction from Poly that explicitly speaks against operation on a dock. However, depending on the dock model and its driver support, there may be limitations in terms of connection stability or audio quality. For optimum performance, Poly recommends direct connection to the computer.
It's probably subjective; as someone who wears glasses, I find it comfortable to wear and the device is also relatively light. However, I only need it for shorter calls (up to 60 minutes, usually only 30 minutes) - for longer stories or continuous use throughout the day, I prefer a headset in the form of headphones
Yes, this device is compatible with Mac OS. It supports Bluetooth and can be connected to your Mac via a USB dongle, providing a stable connection for VoIP applications.
If in doubt, I would choose the Poly item - because their warranty services have (so far) always been generous and defective items are replaced _really_ quickly. Unfortunately, I've already had to rely on it!
According to the product description, the article 21954469 contains the BT700 dongle, which is preferable to the BT600. The case also has a small design update, the dongle can be removed without having to take the HS out of the case.
The charging contacts inside the box work very reliably for me. The contacts on the box are also somewhat unreliable for me. If I insert the headset and press lightly against the contacts (and at the same time check the LEDs to see if they light up), it almost always charges. However, it is not particularly robust; if you bump it against the table, for example, the charging process may well be interrupted.
This is probably a rather clumsy way of saying that a cable is needed for charging, but that the headphones can be connected wirelessly to the PC ;-) So everything is as you would expect. Super product, by the way.
(I posted the same question on the other headset)
In the Digitec/Galaxus shop there is this offer for currently 85.90 and again the same headset for 102.
Item no. 5817778 / manufacturer no. 206110-101 / release date 25.6.2023
and
Item no. 21954469 / manufacturer no. 7K2F3AA / release date 31.8.2022
However, I couldn't find a difference anywhere, not even via Google, and ChatGPT only provides unsatisfactory answers. Which headset does the sales recommendation apply to and why? Thanks for the help.
Hello together
I have just ordered the headset. But what I can NOT do is to use the portable charging box as an integrated charging station (charging box works).
When I put the headset on the charging station (lid closed) it doesn't really hold. No matter how I put the headset in, it seems as if the magnet pushes the headset off rather than pulling it in. This prevents the required charging contact from being made. Do you also have this problem or can you use the charging station as intended?
Thanks for your feedback
are actually identical....müsste probably digitec galaxus adjust or correct...have the identical product as listed twice...1 times where only they are in it as a dealer...1 times where they also have third parties in it as their own dealer...but should be the identical variant...
-> the question is if you want to buy a 5 years old device or if you want to go for the new poly buds? they are a bit more powerful than the old voyager 5200 uc... https://www.digitec.ch/de/page/kein-kraechzen-und-kein-rauschen-mit-den-earbuds-von-poly-27511
Unfortunately I forgot the dongle with my old business laptop and have now seen that the headset incl. charging case, dongle and charging cable costs CHF 128.- and the dongle standalone CHF 72.90, can that really be?

I have read that the direct connection via Bluetooth is not as stable and of much poorer quality, which is why you need the dongle if you talk on the phone for several hours a day.
But how can it be that a dongle is worth 60% of the headset price? For 128.- you get a headset, a dongle, a charging case and the charging cable.... I find that highly questionable, almost a rip-off.
