I'm sorry, I can't answer that. I use this as a media player for files on my SSD. It works perfectly without jerking, even with high data streams.
Yes, that's right. Actually, the Netflix app no longer runs on the device, probably because of an outdated Android version. There are instructions on how to install a newer Android version (all unofficial), then you can get a Netflix app running again. However, the operation remains a horror, for example, you can't scroll to the right to browse through the films. In short, the thing is simply outdated and unusable for Netflix.
Hello, This is an Android based box, with playstore. All Android applications available. Netflix and Kodi work for me.
Don't buy them because Android 6. Many apps don't support this version. I threw mine away because my Tvapp (teleboy) no longer runs on version 6. Actually, Digitec should take this product out of their range. I don't think you'll be happy with this device considering Android 6 was released in 2015.
Hello, as the Minix has Android V6.0 (Marshmallow) and the SaltTV app needs the required Android V4.4 or higher, this will not be a problem.
I have the Swisscom TV app in operation on the U9-H. So that works. However, watch out: The app can only be operated with a mouse cursor or touch screen. This is not possible with the small, enclosed remote control, as it is not an app for Android TV. It works fine with the large MINIX NEO A2 Lite. It displays a wireless mouse pointer.
Audio formats: DTS-HD, MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, FLAC, ALAC, APE, AAC I did not buy the player for myself. That's why I can't control it myself. But she can watch the DTS movies. But she has no receiver between the player and the TV. Short answer = DTS works according to the data.

You have a normal Android system running on the Neo U9 so you have access to the normal Play store with which you can install any application available. So you should be able to install Play RTS and Play SFR. By default, the interface is just a bit different (icon and button) but you can choose to use the classic android interface in the settings.
Yes, without any problems. Also several.
The resolution according to the manufacturer: (4K @ 60Hz), is Zattoo works.
I have this device myself. Should work in my experience. Connect HDMI to my beamer->YES. my soundbar via SPDIF to the Minix-Neo->YES Connect an external hard drive via USB and watch films on it-> ? I can't confirm this because I don't use a USB hard drive. But the USB connections on the Minix NEO are there ;-) But you're better off with a small NAS anyway. Especially KODI (installed) opens up a whole new world of possibilities if you have a lot of films.
No, it doesn't work at the moment. netflix only works limited (720p I think) because the normal app doesn't work anymore and a special apk has to be used. hope this helps.
This is not a docking station, but a media player with its own operating system...
According to my information, the specified 16GB is internal eMMC storage and not microSD card. The memory can be expanded with a microSD card up to 256GB according to the manufacturer.
Yes but with certain movie player app such as XBMC and many more
Yes, in principle it works. However, there are inexplicably problems with my mouse. Otherwise everything works with the mouse, only the Zatto app is a bit twitchy.
Yup! Have a Plex media server and the Minix does it perfectly!
I haven't noticed any problems with it so far. My box is also only connected via LAN and the antenna is not screwed on.
I installed Teleboj on my box and I could select programmes in LiveTV and watch advertisements after 12". I was unable to test other functions such as replay, saving, etc. due to the lack of an account.
It has worked from the beginning. It always depends on whether the Android player app through which the film is played has a "pass through" option (pass sound directly and unfiltered via HDMI to the amplifier). For example: the Kodi app does this perfectly. The box must also be set to "pass through" accordingly. I enjoy smooth 4K video with DTS TrueHD Master Sound with the NEO U9-H box. Of course, this requires an HDMI cable from version 2.0, but the cable supplied can be used. The purchase of a Minix NEO A2 AirMouse lite is recommended. The enclosed remote control does not cover all functions. Otherwise, an ingenious device. Have fun brekkies
Yes, you can do that. There are 3 USB Ports and you can swap flash drives and external drives as you wish. The name of the drives appear on top right and you just need to click on the name before removing the drive.
