I would like to stream my desktop to my TV to play games. Does this work with this thing and if so how does it work? Preferably in 4k and high FPS. I don't want to have a gaming console anymore

I'm sorry, I can't answer that. I use this as a media player for files on my SSD. It works perfectly without jerking, even with high data streams.
