Can 4K movies be played with the Netflix app without any problems?

No, it doesn't work at the moment. netflix only works limited (720p I think) because the normal app doesn't work anymore and a special apk has to be used. hope this helps.
Unfortunately, I can't answer this question because I have only used the box for the UPC App or Media Player in the bedroom.
