Unfortunately, I can't help you. Mine completely gave up the ghost after a few months; the quality is obviously subterranean.
This device has 2x display ports... I have both my monitors connected to the device via display port, then the device with USB C on my laptop ... that works. But you are missing the corresponding sockets for your HDMi connections.

The basic functionality is passed on from the notebook via USB-C, for which USB-C is easily sufficient. However, the notebook itself would then have to be connected to the power supply. If you buy the docking solution with the power supply unit, you can also charge the notebook via USB-C cable if it is equipped for this purpose, but not all notebooks can do this.

Here's what you need to know: - This solution from i-tec uses USB-C DP-Alt mode (MST) technology. Thunderbolt does not bring any additional functionality. - To be able to operate 2 monitors at 4K@60Hz, DP 1.4 is required. - The DP version is defined by the iGPU (regardless of whether an additional graphics card is installed). - DP 1.4 is only supported from Intel 11th gen CPU (or corresponding AMD CPU) onwards.

The USB-C cable should actually be connected to the USB-C port of a notebook. Docking solutions are not actually intended for connection to a monitor; the hardware built into them is recognised by Windows 10 or 11, for example, and can be used. This does not work with a monitor, because it cannot load any drivers for it.
Hello Alekks, I have an EliteBook 840 G7 and 2x HP 27mx monitors. I configure the display with Window's own tool. The resolution can be adjusted up to the maximum of 1920x1080. Maybe you need to update the display driver? Use cables without transition plugs!

Hi, Unfortunately I cannot confirm this as I am using it on a Lenovo Thinkpad. I suggest checking out the specifications on the i-TEC website to be sure. In theory the Surface pro has a USB-C port which the i-TEC can connect to but I read somewhere that the USB-C port on the Surface Pro is not standard which affects the power handling. i-TEC does have USB-C hubs that they say are specifically for the Surface pro but I could not confirm if this applies to the i-TEC dual DP hub as well
