The following is in the FOCA FAQ: 3. when do I have to register? Pilots and operators of drones weighing more than 250 g (and also those weighing less than 250 g, provided the drone is equipped with a camera, microphone or other sensors that are suitable for the collection of personal data) must in future register online on the platform of the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA). This applies to all categories of drones. Since the drone is equipped with a camera, it will probably have to be registered in future. However, the information is not yet binding, as parliament is still processing the motion. https://www.bazl.admin.ch/dam/bazl/de/dokumente/Gut_zu_wissen/Drohnen_und_Flugmodelle/faq_neue_drohnenregulierung_2020.pdf.download.pdf/FAQ%20neue%20Drohnenregulierung%202020.pdf

I haven't experienced any connection problems with my Mavic Mini yet. This may be due to the fact that I only ever flew within visual range and also in relatively flat, open terrain. Since the transmission runs via WLAN, it should first help to switch off the WLAN in the mobile phone in order to minimise interference from other WLAN networks in the vicinity. There are also various antenna amplifiers available on the internet, but I don't know if they really help, I'm a bit sceptical. But maybe you could try it, especially since the offers are not very expensive. But maybe you should read the reviews! Otherwise, the only thing that might help is to switch to the Mini 2, which has the better transmission system.

The new laws also apply to drones that have a camera. This also applies to the Mini, even if it weighs less than 250g. The FOCA has a map with all the flight bans in Switzerland, because military installations are also included: https://s.geo.admin.ch/817511aa7f

Hi, I'm really happy with the Mavic Mini. If you use the automatic flight modes a lot, the Air is better. These are very reduced on the Mini and automatic following is not possible with the Mini. But it's small, light and a lot quieter and less conspicuous. The normal video recordings are bombastic in sharpness and quality, the Mini can really score points there and due to the weight of 249 grams, you can fly it in countries and places where other drones are only legal through complicated and expensive registration. The Mini's battery also lasts longer. From me, a clear victory for the Mini, but everyone has to decide for themselves...

My 3 original batteries in the combobox each have 2400 mAh! Of course, the flight time depends very much on the wind conditions. In calm conditions, up to 30 minutes is quite realistic! In stronger winds, the drone has to fight harder to hold its position, so it will stop a little earlier. The battery also runs down a little faster with the prop guards. But I've never had any major problems, especially as I have three batteries to change.

No, absolutely not. I have the Note 10+ and it just fits in the holder. For the iPad you need a tablet adapter like this one. PGYTECH Pad Holder (Mavic, Spark, Mount) The app has also only recently become available for tablets.
