There are two different models: - MR1SS5: 5.8 GHz: 4,000 m (FCC); 2,500 m (SRRC) - MR1SD25: 2.4 GHz: 2,000 m (MIC/CE), 5.8 GHz: 500 m (CE) Which one is sold here?

Hello, what exactly is the difference in scope of delivery between this "combo" and the normal drone?
Thank you!

I asked Digitec and received the following answer:

"Our supplier reports that the MR1SD25: 2.4 GHz 2,000 m (MIC/CE) 5.8 GHz 500 m (CE) version is sold in Europe.
I hope I have been able to help you with this information and I am always available for further enquiries."

Maybe you can get the model from America :) then you have the version with the better range :)

I think there is only one model that can do both. It is true that a certain frequency strength is used depending on the region. In America it is FCC with up to 4KM and in Europe only CE with max 2 KM. I had the Spark and was very disappointed with the range, but it was possible to change the mode by fooling the GPS or using a 3rd party DJI GO app. I don't know about the new Mavic Mini.

I would wait until a few people have already bought one and then look online to see if there is a way to use the FCC connection. But I think that the general range with CE is a lot better than with the Spark.

PS: I'm waiting until BlackFriday to buy the drone :)

Is it no longer possible to switch CE / FCC as with the predecessor models?
