The Digitus DA-81002 supports USB HID mode (keyboard wedge) so that scanned QR codes appear directly as keyboard input, e.g. in Excel. An automatic suffix such as Enter or Tab can be activated via configuration codes in the manual.

I am not completely sure if the device can be paired with two laptops and switch between them. The available information confirms that the DA-81003 supports Bluetooth connections, but does not give details on multi-device pairing or switching between two devices. I recommend that you consult the detailed user manual or contact Digitus customer support for an accurate answer.

QR deposit slips are best scanned with the PayEye - Swiss QR Code Reader. This is the best way to enter the data in the corresponding fields. Many banks / post offices also offer scanning with a "normal" camera (webcam), but it requires an autofocus.

Can only copy and agree with Frabo: The device was a big disappointment. It could not read QR codes. Payments via post were not possible. Returned it, but then a new scanner of the same model came back. I can't understand why Dicitec is still promoting this device as QR-compatible.

The barcode scanner should work smoothly with Mac devices. Unfortunately, it cannot be guaranteed whether the Swiss QR code can be processed cleanly in all languages. As far as I have been able to gather from some feedback, problems can arise when decoding special characters (umlauts and similar).

You can imagine that you have a keyboard in front of you with which you write something in a field. Whether it's a URL in the browser or a barcode in Excel, a text editor or similar. Plug it in, scan the code and it works. For EBankin, of course, the website au must have access to the scanner. The QR code is usually scanned in via webcam.

These scanners must be configured before the first use by scanning the corresponding barcodes in the manual. For example, character set (code page), language, USB interface (if different interface cables are possible). Unlike a mobile phone, the scanner has to translate the scanned data into the correct keyboard codes so that it arrives correctly at the PC. Windows treats the scanner like a keyboard. To test it, I would use a blank document or Notepad. That would be my first thought.

Yes, this is possible without any problems with this 2D scanner. In Postfinance e-finance, go to the "Receipt reader" mode and scan the entire code directly into the designated field with the help of the 2D scanner. The content is automatically analysed and correctly entered in the e-finance form in the corresponding fields.
