Could the problem from the rating "Not suitable for QR code Switzerland, as umlauts are not read correctly even with language setting German" be solved?

I could not set it to German-Swiss umlauts either, the language code is missing in the manual. Apparently the device is simply not suitable for QR code Switzerland and should be declared so by Digitec.

I have tried for two days with all possible settings and also on the computer with different programmes. Unfortunately, the device does not seem to be able to read UTF-8 correctly. Umlauts either came out wrong or not at all, the rest worked. For me, however, it was not an option and I returned the device.
