QR Code, 1D barcodes, 2D barcodes
-Simply plug into the USB, no software installation required, is immediately recognised in Windows 10, and after scanning, the scanned text is passed on to the application (here: browser), which works without any problems. -*To the configuration/wrong umlauts: You can change the language in the manual, page 9 - there are a few QR codes, and then umlauts are displayed correctly (e.g. "ü" instead of "Y"). * -Unfortunately, it still doesn't work with Postfinance Online Banking. The "Swiss QR Codes" on the Swiss bills use a substandard "pain.001.001.03.ch.02" and I guess the line breaks are coded differently. That's why my Postfinance Online Banking is now not accepting the input. :( > Not usable with Postfinance Online Banking.
For me, too, the scanner with Postfinance only works occasionally (what a pity !). Especially cr/lf are coded differently. The
manufacturer should adapt the software - and will do so if a major retailer (Galaxus) demands it.
I am waiting for the corresponding QR code !

Ah interesting- I now have 2 invoices with the Swiss QR code, it worked fine- what doesn't work is the one for federal taxes- I see it has more pixels. Maybe you have to change the resolution, and the language coding is not the problem at all (after you have changed the device to "German" with the help of the manual QR code)...I will have a closer look.
The manufacturer is aware of the problem with Swiss QR codes, and unfortunately has not promised any extra support. Let's see, maybe I can still solve it myself.
Doesn't work for most bills - I only use the mobile app now and will ditch the scanner.
Doesn't work for me for ä and ü and have thrown the scanner away
