Hello Andrea,
The VC-500 is not designed for these quantities and would definitely go to its knees at 100 labels. After only 10 labels at a time, printing becomes very slow and it needs longer and longer cool-down phases.
Hoi, it also works for me after x labels.... I have many colours. Your problem is not known to me after years. Have you changed the roll? Maybe there is a problem here or the printer is defective.
Hello Richacebab
As far as I know, there are no round labels, see here: https://support.brother.com/g/b/colist.aspx?c=ch&lang=de&prod=vc500weuk&cao=rollc.
You would have to cut or punch them out.
Greetings
Can yes. Intended for that - Rather not. In addition, the stamp would have to be inserted as an "image".
To be on the safe side, I would ask the manufacturer.
Make
Sure the cartridge is correctly inserted. There is a little green button in P-Touch software which recognises the cartridge. If it still does not recognise it then it must be defect.
It's only happened to me once. You have to remove the roller at the back and put it right back on. The printer updates itself. No need to switch off or anything. My printer works very well. I'm very happy with it.
Based on comments from previous buyers, it seems that the labels are not water resistant at all.
On this basis, we can certainly assume that these labels are not suitable for textile bonding.
Lightfastness absolutely OK. But it does not tolerate water at all. A layer comes off - and it is unreadable. Quite disappointing.... Smudge-proof also OK.
See above under "Download" in "Technical Data Sheet":

(and of course the Brother VC-500W in addition).
In fact, I don't know. So far I have only tried out the label printer, but it has not been in use for a long time. Does brother.com, or does it have telephone support?
I have had the printer for about 6 months. I am satisfied with the print results so far - but I have not consciously carried out durability tests (sunlight, weather, etc.).
I don't think so, because the printer does not print with a specific medium. Actually, it works like a thermal printer, which in this case activates certain colour crystals on the print medium through certain heat. Whether a different thermal print roll is compatible would have to be tested. The next problem would be the feed because the label roll would also have to fit.
