Jo that's possible, the processor socket is the same for both :)

But according to the specifications this is not necessary because this motherboard has 6 fan slots which means it has 6 times a 4-pin PWM connector where you can connect 4 pin fans or also 3 pin fans or pumps :)
Yes, everything fits and works. Do you really want a big tower (Corsair Obsidian 750D)? A midi tower would also suffice.
Does this mainboard have WLAN and/or Bluetooth? I particularly value the fact that it has Bluetooth.
no, this board has no w-lan and no bluetooth, you have to take the Z270E gaming. https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-Z270E-GAMING/ greetings marko
This only means that you can connect a total of 6 fans.
Hello, For an i7 you also need an i7 cooler I myself use the be quiet! Dark Rock 3 (16cm) overclocked to 4.8Ghz stable at 50 degrees on an i7-7700K. The fan turns so slowly that it is not audible. The GPU fans are louder ;-)
Sorry, I made a mistake. It has been taken care of.
The specs say it supports i3, i5 and i7 in the 6th and 7th generation so it should be compatible. The motherboard also supports overclocking so it should be compatible with the 7700K.
They are almost identical. Only the sound chip is different in the Z270F it is the SupremeFX S1220A. On the Z270-A it is the Realtek S1220A.
...the socket is not the same, just means the same, the pins are different, Intel could have at least renamed it LGA 1151 v2
intels cpu 8th generation have more pins. so only z370 boards can be used :)
The information is missing from Digitec's description. The Z270 chipset can process the 6th & 7th generation from Intel.
Yes, they are compatible and also fit.
Not this model, but the Asus Strix Z270E has wifi and bluetooth, have that too ;)
Hello Tina It's possible that something is defective, but probably not. What exactly is flashing red? Which part of the board? The Aura RGB light or the error LEDs? If so, which? Is the board working? If nothing turns on, is there often no power (8Pin CPU power and 24Pin ATX power plug inserted?)? RAM installed in the correct slots according to the manual, all cables and plug-in cards well seated? Otherwise, you can try to remove all components except the CPU and a memory module (in the 2nd slot from the CPU) (also the graphics card, connect the monitor directly to the board) and reinstall them gradually. Greetings Chris
Some function may not allow the motherboard to turn off completely. For example, I'm thinking of the USB fast charge function, is that enabled? Aura lighting control (Aura Sync RGB LED lighting) enabled? Or, for example, is the Fast Boot function (if present on this motherboard) enabled?
I think this should actually work with any brand/type without any problems.
Yes, that fits together so wonderfully. However, if I were you, I would install 16GB RAM right away. Doesn't cost much more! And for the CPU cooler, I would recommend BeQuiet!
Yes, you can connect it via the M.2 connector. The screws (if I remember correctly) are included in the mainboard box.
