Yes, that fits together so wonderfully. However, if I were you, I would install 16GB RAM right away. Doesn't cost much more! And for the CPU cooler, I would recommend BeQuiet!

I have a 550 watt power supply and a Gtx 1080. Your 500 watt power supply should easily suffice. This calculator shows you how many watts you need in the power supply.
