Question about ASUS Strix Z270f Gaming
Is the motherboard compatible with the i7-8700k processor? According to the description no, but do they both have the same socket?

...the socket is not the same, just means the same, the pins are different, Intel could have at least renamed it LGA 1151 v2
unfortunately you don't need a z370 board ........nerv me too because i have a 7700k on z270 and if i want to upgrade i have to buy a new processor and board ......
