No!

With Coffee Lake, Intel is simultaneously introducing new motherboards and the Z370 chipset. But they are not that new: the 1151 socket will continue to be used - as was the case with Skylake and Kaby Lake. However, the old boards are not compatible with Coffee Lake. Other pin assignments, apparently to support eight-cores in the future, are to blame. COMPUTER BILD used the GigaByte Z370 in the test.

z270 mainboards are also compatible with 8th gen cpu just a side note... but intel doesn't give any warranty. they are more interested in selling new mainboards...., it's just a pity that almost everyone falls in.

No, the ASUS STRIX Z270F GAMING only supports 7th generation Intel Cores.
Intel 8th generation cores need a Z370 chipset,
like this one:
