For easy and quick measurement of direct and alternating currents up to 1000 A, the circuit does not need to be interrupted during measurement, unlike with multimeters. The device is perfectly suited for servicing machines in control cabinets and for measuring high currents in automotive and truck electrical systems.
Multimeter functions: The device features voltage, frequency, temperature, current, capacitance, and resistance measurement functions with automatic range selection, as well as diode testing and an acoustic continuity tester.
The high-contrast display with 6000 counts is exceptionally readable in all lighting conditions. Especially in poorly lit control cabinets, this model outperforms conventional clamp meters. The display shows 4-digit values up to 5999 (6000 counts), regardless of the position of the decimal point.

The ultra-compact entry-level clamp meter combines ergonomic technology with a very good price-performance ratio. The clamp meter allows for non-contact current measurement as well as the usual multimeter functions. With the clamp sensor, it is no longer necessary to disconnect the circuit for measurement. The VC-330 is also ideal for measurements in automotive or solar applications, as it features a direct current measurement function.
Robust and handy, the measuring device is built to withstand tough conditions thanks to its two-component housing with integrated soft rubber protection. The rubberized housing shell also makes the meter very easy to grip.

8. Voltcraft Isolationstester
Measure insulation resistances up to a maximum of 20 GΩ with test voltages of 50/100/250/500/1000 V. In addition, the ET-200 enables measurement functions for direct and alternating voltages up to a maximum of 600 V in CAT IV and for resistances up to 20 kΩ. An optional remote triggering test lead enables measurement triggering directly at the test probe so that the ET-200 does not have to be held in the hand during the measurement. The device is ideally protected against shocks by the soft rubber protection.

Accurate measurements through True RMS measurement. The True RMS measurement allows for precise measurement of asymmetrical voltages and currents that deviate from the basic sine wave shape. Asymmetrical voltages typically occur in power controllers such as dimmers, speed controllers, switched-mode power supplies, pulsed chargers, or electronic speed controllers. Conventional average-value meters can show significant measurement deviations in these measurement tasks.
Impedance switching. The LoZ function enables the measurement of DC and AC voltages with low impedance. The lower internal resistance of the device reduces measurement deviations caused by stray and ghost voltages.
