1. Bcn3D ABS White 2.85 mm 2,500 g
Overview
ABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene) is one of the most commonly used engineering materials across various industries worldwide. It is a technical material that combines rigidity and impact resistance. It is the ideal material for technical applications and moving parts. Traditionally a challenging material for printing with FFF printers, it has been reformulated to ensure good layer adhesion and reduce warping. Our grade offers excellent dimensional accuracy and high durability.
Applications
Parts with high mechanical stress
Strong prototypes and end-use parts
Aesthetic models
Commonly used in electronics or device cases, luggage, and phones
Precise fittings, buttons, lids, and keys
Rigid models with snap connections
Properties
Attractive matte surface quality
Good stiffness and shape stability
High impact resistance, even at low temperatures (-10 ºC)
Good heat resistance, up to 100 ºC
Improved printability
Water-resistant
Low resistance to organic solvents
Technical Information
High-temperature material that can take a hit. ABS is capable of withstanding high operating temperatures. Additionally, its excellent impact toughness makes it ideal for applications where vibrations or impacts would break materials like PLA or PET-G.
High thermal and mechanical resistance
ABS is perfect for producing parts that are mechanically very robust and also have high heat resistance.
Highly functional and mechanically load-bearing parts
ABS is ideal for parts that are subject to high mechanical stress while providing an attractive matte surface.
Prototyping validation
Its excellent mechanical and thermal properties make ABS the ideal material for testing prototypes before moving into mass production.

2. Bcn3D PETG White 2.85 mm 2,500 g
Overview
PET-G (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol-modified) is a thermoplastic polyester plastic that is characterised by a good balance of tensile strength and elongation at break. Its high resistance to water and chemicals makes it the material of choice for waterproof containers and protective covers. PET-G is a versatile technical material that can be printed as easily as PLA, but offers a better balance of mechanical, chemical, and thermal properties.
Compatibility: Determine the compatibility of BCN3D printers and filaments.
Applications:
- Parts in contact with salts, acids, and alkalis
- Functional prototypes and mechanical parts
- Waterproof applications
- Lightly stressed structural components
- Snap-fit connections
- Commonly used in beverage bottles
Properties:
- Resistance to corrosive chemicals
- Good balance of strength, impact resistance, and elongation at break
- High dimensional stability and toughness
- Good glossy surface quality
- Good abrasion resistance
- Water and moisture barrier
- Withstands operating temperatures up to 70 °C
- Low content of ultrafine particles (UFP) and volatile organic compounds (VOC)
- Compatible with PVA supports
Technical Information:
Good balance of strength and ductility. PET-G parts are as strong as those made from PLA, but offer a better mechanical profile. PET-G is not brittle, meaning it does not break abruptly when pulled or bent. On the contrary, it bends and stretches gradually until it reaches its maximum elongation limit of 23%.
Resistant to chemicals and moisture. PET-G is highly resistant to chemicals and moisture, allowing for disinfection and cleaning without compromising its mechanical properties when exposed to alcoholic solutions.
Quick tools: Use it to accelerate the production of fixtures for your production chain.

4. Bcn3D CF15
PAHT CF15 (high-temperature polyamide, carbon fiber reinforced) combines high temperature and chemical resistance with extreme mechanical properties. It allows for operation at a continuous usage temperature of 150 °C, with a peak temperature of 180 °C, compared to standard PA. The 15% carbon fiber reinforcement makes it stiffer, opening up new fields for printing demanding applications. The filament also has high wear and abrasion resistance, is resistant to solvents and corrosive chemicals, and has low moisture absorption. Application areas for PAHT CF15 filament: The temperature resistance of the filament favors its use as a structural and functional part exposed to high temperatures and aggressive environments. It is also used as a metal substitute in the automotive industry, as PAHT CF15 impresses with its special stiffness and impact resistance.
