The Xtar Micro AAA LR03 and Mignon AA LR6 Li-ion battery is manufactured electronically with a regulated output voltage of 1.5 volts. The stable and high output voltage makes the 1.5 V lithium-ion rechargeable batteries compatible with many devices that are optimised for operation with 1.5 V disposable batteries and where the low voltage of the NiMH rechargeable battery could cause problems.
