Victron Energy

Filax 2
Filax: the ultra-fast transfer switch
Filax was developed with the aim of switching sensitive devices such as computers or modern entertainment electronics from one AC source to another. The main power source is typically the power grid, a generator, or a shore connection. An inverter usually serves as the alternative source. With its switching time of less than 20 milliseconds, even sensitive loads continue to operate without interruption. The Filax is not designed to supply household appliances with high power consumption, such as washing machines or electric motors.
The Filax 2 is available in two models:
230 V/50 Hz-240 V/60 Hz
110 V/50 Hz-120 V/60 Hz.
