The Rollei Astroklar Filter, made from high-quality optical glass, is particularly suitable for astrophotography and night landscape photography. The Astroklar Filter effectively reduces light pollution when shooting in the dark. It features a special coating that suppresses the typical wavelengths of yellow and orange light produced by common artificial light sources, such as streetlights. Nevertheless, the Astroklar Filter also behaves extremely neutrally in the infrared light spectrum, which is a significant advantage for astrophotography.
