The Rollei Astroklar Filter, made from high-quality optical glass, is particularly suitable for astrophotography and nighttime landscape photography. The Astroklar Filter effectively reduces light pollution during dark conditions. It features a special coating that suppresses the typical wavelengths of yellow and orange light produced by common artificial light sources, such as street lighting. Nevertheless, the Astroklar Filter remains extremely neutral in the infrared light spectrum, which is a significant advantage for astrophotography.
