The Rollei Astroklar filter, made from high-quality optical glass, is particularly suitable for astrophotography and night landscape photography. The Astroklar filter effectively reduces light pollution during nighttime shots. It features a special coating that suppresses the typical wavelengths of yellow and orange light produced by common artificial light sources, such as street lighting. Nevertheless, the Astroklar filter also behaves extremely neutrally in the infrared light spectrum, which is a significant advantage for astrophotography.
