The Rollei Astroklar filter, made of high-quality optical glass, is particularly suitable for astrophotography and for landscape photography at night. The Astroklar filter effectively reduces light pollution when shooting in the dark. The Rollei Astroklar filter uses a special coating that suppresses the typical wavelengths of yellow and orange light that are produced by conventional artificial light sources, such as street lighting. Nevertheless, the Astroklar filter is extremely neutral, especially in the IR light range, which is a great advantage for astrophotography.
