Steffen Power Remote Radio Set
Type 12
An answer from a customer: Good question, simple answer. That's what the manufacturer says. He also has a set with two adapters and the same remote control on offer. Digitec cannot simply change the items supplied by the manufacturer at whim. If you search with the manufacturer's number, you will find the product page (on the manufacturer's website). A set with four adapters is not available with this one: https://www.steffen.ch/de/categories/964-steffen-power-remote The question should therefore go to Steffen and not to Digitec, imo.
Exactly, the switch socket must not be connected to an extension cable. Extension cables can often supply several devices at the same time, which could lead to an overload of the radio set. This can lead to overheating and, in the worst case, to a fire. In addition, extension cables, especially if they are not used properly or are overloaded, can cause voltage fluctuations that can impair the performance of the wireless set or even cause damage.
Wouldn't it also be more optimal in terms of space to choose a plug set that has Smart functions? This would also allow you to set up scenes and check the power consumption of the connected devices. The operation would then be done via the smartphone or tablet. I could recommend this set, for example, they are very compact Smart plugs that can switch up to 2500 watts and do not take up so much space: Hombli Smart Swiss Socket 2+1
I use it as a switch for a lamp. Works excellently and reliably. I know nothing about programming.
What kind of cable? It's a radio set! Don't understand the question otherwise?
Requires one CR2032.
Yes. Greetings
Hello, as far as I know, digitec does not sell the plug individually, only as a set (1 plug plus 1 remote control for 4 plugs) - then you have 1 remote control as a reserve. Otherwise you would have to ask Steffen himself. I hope this is helpful.
Yes, if the receivers are far enough apart, it's not a problem. The second could work. The receivers are registered with the controller, so one switch should respond to controller 1 (CHA), the other only to controller 2 (CHA). Try it out or buy Steffen MD36Y - the system code can be set via DIP switch.
Press and hold the button when plugging into the socket, then press a button on the remote control to programme.
Unfortunately, this set is not dimmable. There are several versions of this set, one of which is dimmable. Unfortunately, we do not carry this in our range and we only have a single dimmable receiver with remote control, which can be found under the following link: Steffen POWER Remote Funkset mit Dimmerfunktion 1 Zwischenstecker 1 Sender (Funk Zwischenstecker)
