No need for this type of Drone
Nope, c'est un toy, all good
The model in question had 1 battery
The drone is controlled via an app on the mobile phone or tablet. A WiFi connection is established between the drone and the device with the app. Flying via the internet is not possible for the time being.
No, the Tello does not have IP certification. As far as I know, no consumer drone has either. If it rains, I would rather leave the drone inside.
Yes, or with an iPad. I prefer to use the iPad mini, which is a good size for controlling.
Nach Tello im App Store suchen. z.B. https://apps.apple.com/de/app/tello/id1330559633
This could be due to the distance between the mobile device and the drone. With the Tello, the recording is done directly on the mobile device. If the connection to the drone becomes more unstable due to the distance, then the footage will suffer significantly. What about when you take pictures with the drone very close to you? Is the result better then?
Thank you very much for the answer 👌
EDU stands for Education and is aimed at educational institutions to integrate this drone into programming lessons.
A drone in this price range does not usually have a "coming home" function. When the connection goes, it actually takes off - and is usually carried away by the wind until an object stops it. Or the ground gets too close - or the battery runs out.
Yes, it works perfectly. I also gave my godfather and his brother two identical ones for Christmas and there were never any problems.
This should not happen, of course, possibly the compass is defective. A recalibration would help according to users in the DJI forum. Otherwise, a defect cannot be ruled out, in which case please contact our customer service at digitec@digitec.ch.
The device has neither a mobile modem nor does it need a SIM card. It can only be controlled via the wifi (provided by the multicopter). You do not need to have your home wifi within range, but connect to the wifi of the multicopter.
There are no mistakes. Never. On the opposite side of the charging port on the side of the drone is the power button. Press it briefly and it switches on. In case of connection problems, keep it pressed for longer. I think about 5 seconds... mine can't connect to the app... sniff... but switching it on and off as described above works... so. The power button is a small bump and barely visible on the other side of the charging case.if you hold the drone with 2 fingers you cover the button. Look closely. A slight bump, just like if you had covered the pod... hope this works...
I think the app has a demo mode. You can practice in it. Otherwise, the assignment is the same as for any other drone (Mode 1 & 2).
Yes, it must be there! The contents of the delivery must be indicated in the manual.
Yes, that should be possible, as each Tello has its own WiFi code. Free tip: You can get replacement batteries at MM 😄
Since you control this multicopter via wifi, you can fly 10 at a time side by side.
This is a toy. It is suitable for "everyone", you can't break much, but you shouldn't expect anything from it either. The part is intended for windless places or the living room - photos and videos cannot be compared with other multicopters, the camera is more of a "nice to have". A rechargeable battery is included in the scope of delivery; it can be charged via USB using any 5V USB power supply unit or, in a pinch, directly on a PC. For more serious things, the Spark (with RC) is certainly the better choice. For a bit of fun flying, however, the Tello is the perfect choice.
Hello Friso78, just use the search engine you trust "Ryze Tello replacement motors" and you will find some offers. From AliExpress to Amazon and various other suppliers.
With Google you would already have the answer. No, you don't need a "driving licence" (yet), and you don't have to register it here or need a sticker (from 250g). However, as here in Switzerland, there are numerous other laws, e.g. you are not allowed to fly everywhere for a long time and you have to keep a distance from certain things, which also applies to this toy! I recommend you to study the laws before buying / flying, unfortunately there are more than enough self-appointed "air" policemen, who often have something to complain about even with 100% legal operation, so it is an advantage to know the exact rules ;-)
