RØDE VideoMic Pro+
RØDE VideoMic Pro+
The low cut filter (high pass filter), as the name suggests, filters out sounds below the specified frequency (75Hz or 150Hz). If you still have noise on the sound with the 75Hz setting, you can try 150Hz. With the two settings you are a bit more flexible and can choose the better setting depending on the situation so that you do not filter out too large a frequency range. Accordingly, I cannot tell you when the ideal situation is for which setting. The best thing is to test them and check the sound during the recording.

Yes, the VideoMic Pro+ is compatible with the Fujifilm X-H2, as it has a 3.5 mm jack connection and the X-H2 has a microphone input. Compatibility depends primarily on whether the camera has an external microphone input - this is the case with the X-H2. For best results, you should manually check the levels on the camera as recommended in the RØDE guidelines for the X-H2. The VideoMic Pro+ also features a high-pass filter and three-stage gain control to minimise noise and adjust recording quality. Note: Specific settings for the X-H2 are not explicitly listed for the VideoMic Pro+ in the documents provided, but basic compatibility is given.

The RØDE VideoMic Pro+ is compatible with the Canon EOS R, provided certain requirements are met. - The Canon EOS R must have an external microphone socket, which is the case for this camera, as it has a 3.5 mm jack socket. - The microphone socket on the Canon EOS R must be compatible with the 3.5mm TRS minijack connector used by the VideoMic Pro+. Since the VideoMic Pro+ uses AA batteries for its power supply, you don't need to worry about the "Plug In Power" function that is required for some other RØDE models. So, with the Canon EOS R's 3.5mm jack and flash bracket, the VideoMic Pro+ should work without a hitch.

We currently have the following TRS cables in our range: https://www.digitec.ch/de/search?filter=t_20450%3D320775&q=TRS+cables. If this does not fit, you can contact our customer service directly. This can then be checked individually.
I'm sure it will work quite well this way. At least for me, this is not a problem and the quality is very good.
Yes. On the left side of the camera you have the AUX input for all external microphones.
Good day, Unfortunately, the microphone is not in stock in Basel. If you order it today, you can pick it up tomorrow or have it delivered on Monday. By the way, you can check this yourself by looking at the green text under the name which unfolds when you move the mouse over it and shows the delivery times for each order.
I bought the Røde DeadCat VMPR for this and it fits perfectly.
I have a Sony A7 iii, but as the Canon has a 3.5mm jack input I can't imagine that the mic can't be compatible. The mic can be mounted on the hot shoe and connected to the camera via the supplied 3.5 mm jack out.
