The VideoMic Pro+ features the best Rycote Lyre suspension system in its class and enhances the existing VideoMic Pro capsule, wiring system, and windscreen, offering a variety of new features.

The automatic power feature (with available plug-in power) is perfect for quick use, as the microphone automatically turns off when disconnected from the camera.

The integrated battery door makes changing batteries a breeze and ensures they won't get lost.

Power options for the VideoMic Pro+ include the brand-new and included RØDE LB-1 lithium-ion battery, 2 x AA batteries, or continuous power via micro USB.

The digital switching ensures that the user can optimally capture the audio signal at the source, reducing post-production and editing times.

The digital switching includes:
• A 2-stage high-pass filter to reduce low-frequency noises such as rumble from traffic or air conditioning
• A 3-stage gain control with a +20dB function that improves audio quality when using DSLR or mirrorless cameras
• High-frequency boost to enhance detail and clarity in recordings
• A safety channel to ensure that the signal does not clip when unexpected peaks occur.
