Question about RØDE VideoMic Pro+
Hello, is the RØDE VideoMic Pro+ compatible with the Canon EOS R? I do have a jack and the flash bracket, but I would prefer to have confirmation. Thank you for your reply.

The RØDE VideoMic Pro+ is compatible with the Canon EOS R, provided certain requirements are met.
- The Canon EOS R must have an external microphone socket, which is the case for this camera, as it has a 3.5 mm jack socket.
- The microphone socket on the Canon EOS R must be compatible with the 3.5mm TRS minijack connector used by the VideoMic Pro+.
Since the VideoMic Pro+ uses AA batteries for its power supply, you don't need to worry about the "Plug In Power" function that is required for some other RØDE models.
So, with the Canon EOS R's 3.5mm jack and flash bracket, the VideoMic Pro+ should work without a hitch.
