Hi Chris ,-) Yes, it's amazing, isn't it? Seems realistic. Unfortunately, camera and lens prices in Europe have risen by 20% in some cases in recent months and this is the consequence of that. Presumably they're trying to see how far they can go. Officially, price fluctuations and some production problems (earthquake areas) and Brexit are supposed to be to blame (?). I think the price will fall below the 2k mark in the next few weeks. But even then: I am out! Maybe in 6-8 months I'll buy yours (little used, in perfect condition) for CHF 7-800 ,-p Greetings Dagmar PS: I don't think I will invest in high-end MFT systems at new prices again. If at all, then only in used ones... And not because the cameras or lenses are bad, on the contrary, the Oly and the four manual f0.95 Voigtländer lenses are wonderful, but the resale value is too low for me as a "system hopper"....

Slot 1 can accept UHS-II and slot 2 only UHS-I. Of course, you can put UHS-II cards in both. But that doesn't help. If you often use the continuous shooting mode, UHS-II cards have an advantage in slot 1, but otherwise you can probably save yourself the trouble and buy the normal Extreme Pro UHS-1 with 90MB/s write and 170MB7s read. Otherwise the UHS-II with 300 MB/s write and read speed. If you want the cards to be more stable, I would buy the new Sony Tough cards. They are available in a slower 150MB/s version, which is much cheaper, and in a faster 290MB/s version. The faster ones can hardly be used by any camera. the slower version: Sony SF-M Tough (SDXC, 128GB, U3, UHS-II)

The 60fps is full resolution, not like Panasonic does with the 8Mpixels. But it's not that you take hundreds of pictures, it's more about the right timing, you hold the shutter halfway down, during which 60 frames/s are recorded in the memory (not on the card), then you press down, and 25 frames are saved back from the press (so approx. 0.5s). With ProCap S it is "only" 30 frames/s, so there is a minus of approx. 1s (also 25 frames).

This question has already been answered several times ^^ Because the camera is new and not even available yet...and as Ms Lilan Dach has already answered here: https://www.digitec.ch/de/page/10-rabatt-aufs-komplette-olympus-foto-sortiment-2888 They are not allowed to...no normal manufacturer does it either..10% discount on a camera that is not even available yet.
