I think that's because some products are generally more expensive in Switzerland than elsewhere. This also has to do with possible tariff prices. Besides, you shouldn't complain to Digitec but directly to Oculus, as it costs just as much there.
Unfortunately, the Quest 2 is currently not in stock at any of our suppliers and no one can tell us exactly when we can expect new units again 😥 Due to the high demand in the lockdown and the semiconductor shortage, it may therefore take a while until we can offer the Quest 2 again.

I have had this headset for 3 months and I am very happy with it and it is the best value for money, it can also be used in stand alone mode and that is a real plus. 1. Never heard of the Facebook "ban". 2. I was a bit seasick the first time I used it but since then I'm fine (simracing). 3. It's the best for the price and it's autonomous, I haven't tried any other helmet.
Nope (Unfortunately not)
Yes, it has extra "glasses spacers", i.e. a small plastic insert that prevents the lenses of your glasses from scratching the glass in the VR glasses. If you don't have oversized glasses, this will fit.
To connect an external storage device, Oculus Support provides the following instructions: https://support.oculus.com/2289814927920267/ You will need a USB-OTG (On the go) compatible storage device formatted in FAT32 and a USB-OTG adapter cable (with USB-C connector).
Half life Alyx? ;) Unfortunately I also have regular problems. I bought wifi6 for the pc in the hope that it would work via hotspot, but unfortunately windows then has problems. But once it's up and running via wifi6, it runs very well. The quest 1 had fewer problems. In the meantime I have an access point which is only for the quets 2, now it works a bit better, but at some point I will get a wifi6 access point. The most you could do is try out different channels on your upc router.
what do you want to do with it? The Quest 2 works without a smartphone and without a PC.
If you tap/click on the availability, you will see at which locations the product is in stock. If you want to buy a product locally, I recommend ordering it online beforehand and then specifying the branch as the delivery location, because the branches (at least until recently) were only open for service and collection.
So it was the same for me, the original cable that came with the quest is not compatible, you need the quest link cable or any other usb c cable that is USB3.0.
Yes, you can. A suitable USB cable is required for this. Either the oculus link cable from oculus itself or another (min. 3m long) USB 3.0 cable that has a type C connector on at least one side. The oculus app must also be installed and open on the PC. If you want to play wirelessly, you can also look for a tutorial on the virtual desktop app.
Watch out: Thunderbolt not quite equal to USB 3.2 Type C I think with this cable/adapter it should work: Oculus Link: Oculus Link Cable (Oculus Quest) USB Type C to "normal": InLine USB 3.2 Gen.1 If the adapter is Gen 2, it will certainly work better. But I can't find an adapter here in a hurry. The comment by Merdis is very helpful: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/ProductRating/bis-jetzt-das-beste-vr-headset-auf-dem-markt-1351545
Yes, we regularly program applications for Quest and Quest2. Unity is probably the easiest way... What exactly do you mean by "interfaces"? Greetings, R.
This is what the availability indicator on the article tells you.
The 64GB version is enough for me. A game has maybe 0.5-2 GB at the moment. Very big ones sometimes have up to 6GB (Star Wars). With the app WirelessDesktop, Steam VR games can be played wirelessly if the computing power of the PC is right. This works surprisingly well.
For questions about the range, please contact Digitec customer support directly: digitec@digitec.ch
The glasses are actually intended as a standalone device without a PC. So they are worth it (if you also buy games). You can look online in the Quest Store to see which games are available and at what prices. I have the 64GB version and it has room for several games. In the online store you can also see how much space the games take up. And yes, there are not too many free games here.
A facebook account is needed to even start the setup with the oculus app, and via virtual desktop you can do everything on the headset, like on a PC, so PCVR games are also playable wirelessly.
